A huge thank you to Mairead Fox who approached us before Christmas, offering to make and sell her beautiful wreaths and donate the proceeds to us. At the time she said “I want to use my skills to give someone a bit of a hand”. It was no surprise that she had no trouble finding willing buyers, but it was a wonderful surprise when she recently made the very generous donation of $1500 to our Trust. Dave, our Chairperson, had the pleasure of meeting the delightful Mai to thank her in person. A big thanks from the rest of us on the Trust too Mai, you have certainly given a big hand to some needy families in our local community.
