Well here we are again, another busy year for the Trust having helped 560 local families since the Trust was established in 2009. This has been a big year for the Trust, with the cost of living affecting many local families, so we are very grateful for the donations from the local community, along with Wanaka and Districts Lions, Lake Hawea Family Fishing Club, Wood for Good, and Community Networks, and the fundraising efforts of the committee members. Since our last AGM we have sadly said goodbye to three committee members: Jan Grant, Kate Lovell, and Pam Horne. These three ladies are hugely missed for their enthusiasm, hard work, and dedication to the Trust. We have been fortunate to have David Russell join the Trust, this balances out the blokes a bit, and David has already been hunting out grants for us which has been a great benefit. The Trust are looking forward to their next big fundraiser having been chosen as the charity for the next Hirequip Golf Tournament in March. A big thank you once again to our Trustees, Committee members and everyone who supports us during the year.
